Privacy Policy
Awakee is built on a simple principle: an app this personal shouldn't collect or sell your data. We do not collect any personal data. This policy explains what stays on your device, what anonymous technical data the app processes, and your choices.
Your routines and habits stay yours
Everything you create in Awakee — routines, habits, completions, streaks, notes, and settings — is stored locally on your device and, if you enable iCloud, synchronized through your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. This data is tied to your Apple ID under Apple's terms; we have no access to it, no copy of it, and no server of our own that stores it.
Anonymous data the app processes
To operate subscriptions, the app processes a limited amount of technical data that is not linked to your identity:
- Purchase processing (RevenueCat). Subscription and purchase status is validated through RevenueCat, our payment infrastructure provider. This involves an anonymous app-generated identifier, device type, and purchase history — never your name, email, or Apple ID. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Awakee does not use any third-party analytics or crash-reporting services, and does not send your usage of the app to us or anyone else.
What we never do
- We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, or health data.
- We do not sell, rent, or share data with data brokers or advertisers.
- We do not show third-party ads or use advertising trackers.
- We do not require an account — there is nothing to sign up for.
Notifications
Reminders and timer notifications are scheduled locally on your device. Notification content never leaves your device.
Payments
All purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account. We never see your payment details. You can manage or cancel subscriptions anytime in your App Store account settings.
Children's privacy
Awakee is rated 4+ and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
Data retention and deletion
Because your data lives on your device and in your iCloud, deleting the app (and its iCloud data via iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage) removes it. The anonymous purchase records held by RevenueCat are retained only as long as needed to operate your subscription and are aged out per RevenueCat's retention policy.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change, we will update this page and revise the effective date above. Material changes will be highlighted in the app's release notes.
